I assumed I needed a reboot, but proceeded with the Live One Care installation, which did go out to the internet and check for and downloaded an updated installer. I selected yes, it launches the Norton uninstall, but then I received an error saying it did not uninstall completely. Yesterday I went to install Windows Live One Care and during the install it forces you to uninstall Norton. By way of additional information, I have Wireless built-in, network cable and an aircard, all used within the last week successfully.
I let them expire and have had no problems connecting ot the internet. I am running Vista64 bit and it came with Norton and Symantec trials (HP Laptop).
